The client came to VGS looking to build a new C-store brand in the New England Area that would represent “everyone’s favorite corner farmers’ market.” The market, who’s brand is not affiliated with the attached gas station, needed to provide a clean, warm environment that inspires a sense of safety and accessibility, while reflecting the culture of New England. In addition to the name and positioning of the store/brand, exterior and interior graphics and décor were needed as well.
From the name of the store, down to the paint colors, materials used and metal ceiling sculpture, VGS and Studio D designed, manufactured and installed the entire project.
The exterior of the store is comprised of stone, stucco and wood with a large color logo, to help differentiate the brand of Seasons Market from the gas station. The rustic warmth and New England charm continues inside with a portico featuring a curved slate/stone entryway floor; a dimensional, metallic hanging sculpture-based on the icons from the store’s logo — hangs above the entryway. Cooler case ID features LED strip lighting, while the coffee area showcases new signage and Simplicity™ Digital Menu Boards.
